Simple to use, and very handy. I highly recommend it.

Update Jan 13th, 2013 —————————— Still a great product, no issues with Mavericks, very smooth, works well with multiple monitors (I use 4 monitors with no issues). Stable and robust ! UPDATE Jan 2, 2013 - The new version came out, and it is flawless. This is one of the first programs I install when reinstalling my computer !!! ———————— UPDATE !!!!! - Ive sent an email to the developer, and he informed me of a new version that fixes the bug below. He also included me on a beta program to help make sure that the bug is ---------- indeed fixed. So far great experience with the developer as well, Ive adjusted my review and raring accordingly. This is a great little app, has awesome user interface, and easy to use. Only issue is that sometimes when I drag a window and drop it in the boxes, it ends up changing the previous window I was dragging. Thats ennoying to sat the least. For now I start dragging, stop dragging, and drag again to make sure I am resizing the correct window. I hope that this is a known bug. I will adjust my rating to 5 once this is taken care of.

I had to do a little costumization to get it working hte way i want it to but all in all it does the job really good. I would like to see sortcuts of some sorts for each of the window resize option. For example, in stead of Draging to window to the predetirmend location to in order for it to get resized, I would like to be able to use a key combo/sortcut to resize the windoew to a specific size.

This tool is fantastic. I use it all the time (as I multitask a great deal) and it works like a dream. I love the ability to create my own window sizes, and to have them right there as I move a window around, and then disappear out of my way. I actually appreciate the visual thumbnails of the window sizes, since I have a few of them. I’ve created six different sizes, including the Windows 7/8 left and right screen halves. This is my first rating of an app, and it gets a big, big thumbs up!!

I’m using this on a 27” iMac and with a nice large screen like that, you need to arrange your windows to use it effectively. Window Tidy does an amazing job at letting me create custom sizes and locations. It makes sizing and positioning windows so easy!! LOVE IT!!!

With a dual monitor setup at work, this app makes it easy to place and size my most used applications across my desktop. Highly recomended!

Updated properly and efficiently for OS X Yosemite. Must-have feature for anybody who has multiple programs open at the same time, or hates manually resizing windows.

This app is simple, non-intrusive, and fully customizable. It’s awesome!

Superb! I frequently work with multiple references open while working on a project and have found WIndow Tidy to be of great help in being able to see what I need. It’s great too for arranging multiple windows of the same document, better than using other in-app options. Simple and quick! You can put a lot of windows on a 27” screen, and this little app makes it easy to organize them.

I can’t imagine working with multiple windows/apps without this app helping me stay organized. It’s a must have tool; simple and elegent, easy and essential.

This app does everything I want, and nothing more. Lovely.

I really like the concept and use case, and it works well. However, there’s a weird behaviour with some apps, e.g. the Terminal app, where Tidy thinks it can’t do the resize perfectly and it pops up an alert, even though the resize worked. Annoying. Otherwise it’s great.

I’ve been using Window Tidy for the last two years and don’t know how I would manage without it. Simple UI to set up custom window arrangements and it provides essential functionality, especially in the days of large screens and multiple monitors. Helps keep the workspace organized. Highly recommended!

I got window tidy a while back. It has never been buggy. I work as an engineer and love having my screen oragnized, so does the job very well.

Love this app. Helps me to quickly drag and drop windows into an effective array. Here’s how I use it: 1) Laptop (split-screen mode) One window open for research (safari/pdf-preview/chrome) One window open for writing (word/text-edit) 2) Laptop + 24” monitor (four-screen mode) One window open for project requirements One window open for research One window open for writing One window open for iTunes :) Had this app since it came out.
