I love this app, it makes window management so much easier! People always ask me what I use for window management whenever they see my setup when hooked up to a projector during a meeting.

Windy Tidy is a very useful utility for making precise window sizes and placements. I use it to create specific window sizes when creating screen captures for presentations (Cmd-Shift 4, space bar, click desired window). Customizing window sizes and placement is easy from the convenient toolbar menu. They’ve done regular updates to keep WT running smoothly with macOS. Keep it coming, WT! You make my job easier.

I was able to tidy up the desktop finely. I am using this application on Lion. No problem has occurred.

"Enable access for assistive devices”を有効にする必要があるという趣旨のメッセージが出るが、MacOS 10.8（Mountain Lion）だとこのメッセージにある[OK]ボタンをクリックした際に表示されるコンパネに「補助装置にアクセスできるようにする」という項目があるので、それを有効にする。 MacOS 10.9（Mavericks）ではこの設定を行う場所が移っていて、メッセージにある[OK]ボタンを押した時に表示されるコンパネは見当違い。 システム環境設定 > セキュリティとプライバシー > アクセシビリティ でWindow Tidyにコンピュータの制御を許可させるとよい。 The "Enable access for assistive devices” option has moved to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility. Please update.

The most wonderful window management software I ever used on Mac. 5 stars!

I have been using Windows Tidy for over 1 year, and realized I couldn’t do anything without this app. 8$ is reasonable for me.

Very good programm, works excellent. You can arrange your windows as you wish! Everything just with one click!

Very useful aplication in some situations better than windows snap from MS Windows 7. It offers plenty of configuration options and works perfectly with multiple monitors.

Used to have another app for this that depended solely on key shortcuts, but this is simpler and better. Love it!

Most wanted!

I have ulrawide monitor and this is a must have application. I discovered “Automaticaly group Layouts when possible” last time and I love this feature.

I was Windows user and was hating MAC for windows managment system. It was impossible to make several windows look nice on my 24` screen. With this APP windows managment is much better and much faster than in Windows system. I like it and do not see any bugs to report.

one thing would be great to have its the ability to auto-restore a window position after dragging back to any place (look at the same functionaity of Win 7) and yes theres a bug with dragging icons from the dock

This App is very useful, but lacks of the new Dark mode (OS X Yosemite) and the Italian language support.

Makes total sense. Yet another thing that massively speeds up getting around OS X that should be part of what comes with the laptop.

I have a job where I do a lot of document review. This permits a good set of screen positions. Well worth it.
